Microsoft IIS

Internet Information Services, also known as IIS, is a Microsoft web server that runs on Windows operating system and is used to exchange static and dynamic web content with internet users.

IIS can be used to host, deploy, and manage web applications using technologies such as [[ASP.NET]] and [[PHP]].

An IIS web server runs on the Microsoft .[[Dotnet|NET]] platform on the Windows OS. It’s versatile and stable, and it’s been widely used in production for many years. Version 10 is the most current.
